Your 7 days tour highlights begins with a visit to Lake Bunyonyi to experience the white sand beach and local canoe dugout ride over the beautiful and deepest Lake in Uganda. After visit Bwindi impenetrable National Park located in southern western Uganda and it is a home to mountain gorillas. It is of our pleasure the forest houses half of the number of mountain gorillas’ in Uganda, Rwanda and Congo of the 340-400 species from research that was conducted by the international conservation gorilla programme and other international organizations that are advocating for gorilla conservation in Africa. The forest is the most Uganda visited destination gorilla trekking. The major activity at the park is Gorilla tracking, and others like community walk, birding, nature walks. Then visit the savannah grassland destination to spot wildlife like the rare tree climbing lions, elephants, buffaloes, warthogs, topi, oribi, Uganda Kobs, water bucks and bush buck among others, for game drive, boat ride and Kyambura gorge chimpanzee trekking is stunning!

Tour Itinerary 

Have breakfast, meet tailor safaris professional guide, and thereafter transfer to southern western Uganda with stop at the Uganda equator for photographs, snacks and informative talks. Lunch en-route at Agip motel/Regency hotel and after proceed through the rolling green hills of the Switzerland of Uganda with scenic drive view of beautiful scenery and terraced farming to Lake Bunyonyi and enjoy the white sand beach.
Dinner and overnight at Bird Nest Resort or Heritage lodge. Meal plan: F/B.

Have breakfast, after take motor boat to visit several small dotted islands as you bird and visiting local schools and some groups of disabled persons especially those living with HIV+. After return to lodge for lunch and after embark our safari truck and proceed to Bwindi national park as you prepare for your gorilla trekking the following day. If you arrive early check in at your lodge, after take a nature walk which will lead you to the Munyaga Waterfall and a chance to see Primates such as the Grey Cheeked Mangabey Blue monkeys and others species. Dinner and overnight at either Mahogany springs or Silverback lodge. Meal plan: F/B

Have your early heavy breakfast, after proceed to the park headquarters for briefing about the do’s and don’ts while search and when you meet the gorillas. After enter into the jungle to search for the shy mountain gorillas, the experience is either whole/half day depending the movement of the primates. As you prepare to search the gorillas carry yourself the walkable shoes, rain gears, hut, insect repellents, sun screen, standard cameras and packed lunch and bottled mineral water. When you meet the gorillas sit down to spend your 1hour allowed hour seeing the gorillas playing and take photos but no flash light. After being filled with this unforgettable experience return to your lodge. With time available and still energetic embark on foot community walk to the typical Bakiga homes, local traditional healers, local breweries, local schools, Batwa cultural performances and cultural craft shops.

Have breakfast, after depart from Bwindi to Queen Elizabeth National Park via the famous Ishasha southern sector well known for the rare tree climbing lions in Africa. Take your time and if luck you will spot them in the tree branches resting and other wildlife and savannah birds can be spotted. Lunch at Ishasha Ntungwe river camp or Ishasha wilderness camp. After your drive proceed to the Mweya pensular area where you can view some more birds and wildlife like warthogs, water bucks and bush bucks, oribi, topi-
Dinner and overnight at either Mweya lodge or Kyambura Game lodge. Meal plan: F/B

Dawn game drive to the Kasenyi mating area to search for early riser before they hide, look for other wildlife like Lions, elephants, buffaloes, warthogs, Uganda Kob, water bucks and bush backs, oribi, topi. This experience takes 3-4 hours and after filled with the excitements return to lodge to lodge for breakfast and lunch. Afternoon prepare to 2 hours boat cruise along Kazinga channel which joins the Ramsar Lake George and Lake Edward, this cruise is a clear platform for clear view and photographs of wildlife and bird life species along the banks of the river. With time available visit the Katwe Crater Lake for bird watching the amazing flamingos as the sun is setting off. Return to lodge for Dinner and overnight at either Mweya lodge or Kyambura Game lodge. Meal plan: F/B

Have breakfast after go for Chimpanzee tracking in Kyambura gorge which is awesome and on this trail expect to spot more other primates and birds. Return to the lodge for lunch-after embark our safari truck and proceed to Kampala with another stop at the equator to shop souvenirs’ and curios to take home.
